It features Y-leg construction and utilizes a 2-inch tubular Nomex sleeve which encases a 7259 Internal SAL. The 6,000 pound tubular polyester webbing inside provides the load-bearing element, while the Nomex sleeve protects the lanyard from slag, chemicals and sharp edges. This lanyard also features three forged double-locking Offset snap hook at the attachment end and a rebar hook at the anchorage end. The Internal shock absorbing lanyard limits arresting forces to 900 pounds or less. This lanyard is flame resistant, has a char temperature of over 660 degrees, and is highly resistant to cuts and abrasion. WrapTech Shock Absorbing Lanyards feature a reinforced-gate carabiner rated at 5,000 pounds in an direction. This connector allows the lanyard to be wrapped around a rated structural member and fastened to itself to form your anchorage connector. It is also ideally suited to horizontal lifeline connections or any application where roll-out or compatibility are a concern. All of our lanyards are designed to meet or exceed applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.
