Product Description : From the ManufacturerThe Contractor Harness with Internal Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a contractor vest-style full body harness with #7259 Internal shock absorbing lanyard. The contractor harness features a single back D-ring for fall arrest, 5-point adjustability and 9-position tongue buckle leg straps. It is equipped with two lanyard keepers, and a 6,300 pound heavy-duty polyester harness webbing. The #7259 internal continuous-length shock absorber limits arresting forces to 900 pounds or less, and the lanyard is permanently attached. The 1-1/4-inch tubular lanyard webbing has a tensile strength of 6,000 pounds. Fall arrest systems always require the use of a full body harness and a deceleration device; most often, a shock absorbing lanyard is used as this device. In order to provide an easy solution for these two parts of the fall arrest system, FallTech has created a series of Combination Sets. These combos consist of a full body harness with a shock absorbing lanyard sewn to the dorsal D-ring. By providing harnesses with a variety of lanyard configurations, FallTech has taken the guess work out of fall protection. All FallTech Combination Sets meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI standards.
