Product Description : : From the ManufacturerThe FT Basic Harness with Y-Leg SoftPack Shock Absorbing Lanyard is a FT Basic vest-style, compliance-grade full body harness with a #7256LTY SoftPack Y-Leg shock-absorbing lanyard. The FT Basic harness features a single back D-ring for fall arrest, 3-point adjustability and standard mating buckle legs. This harness is equipped with one lanyard keeper and 6,300 pound heavy-duty polyester webbing for long life and added safety. The #7256LTY SoftPack Y-Leg SAL is permanently attached to the harness and features a Y-Leg configuration for 100-percent tie off and fall arrest. The rugged polyester cover protects the shock absorber from damage, while the 1-inch webbing has embedded wear-indicating threads and a tensile strength of 9,800 pounds. The SoftPack shock absorber limits arresting forces to 900 pounds or less. These combos are a cut-above when compared to other entry-level products. Fall arrest systems always require the use of a full body harness and a deceleration device; most often, a shock absorbing lanyard is used as this device. In order to provide an easy solution for these two parts of the fall arrest system, FallTech has created a series of Combination Sets. These combos consist of a full body harness with a shock absorbing lanyard sewn to the dorsal D-ring. By providing harnesses with a variety of lanyard configurations, FallTech has taken the guess work out of fall protection. All FallTech Combination Sets meet or exceed OSHA and ANSI standards.
